Hey, people. I'm awake!

Some stuff I did since the first:

I went to a street carnival for the Fourth of July and rode the Scat. I also won a stuffed penguin named Mikey :)

Went to theater camp. Not only do I have a line (Mrs Syl-bia, I have to go to the bathwoom!) in the play we're doing (we all play kindergartners), but I also get to throw crayons at people! That's my favorite part of the entire play.

I went to a Bar Mitzvah yesterday. It was...Bar Mitzvah-y.

I saw the funniest episode of Malcom in the Middle about an hour ago. It's kind of cheesy at the beginning, but it gets really funny. I posted it at the bottom, so check that out.

I'm going to the Warped Tour on Friday! In a couple of days, I'll be standing a few feet away from ESCAPE THE FATE!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I have to go, since it's two in the morning and all. So...smee ya!'

I blogged yesterday, so there isn't much to tell you about. It's bullet point time!

At theater camp, we played a game where five different kids pick a piece of paper out of a hat (the papers had moods written on them). Then, the five kids go onstage and do an improv on their moods, all at the same time. At the end of the improv, the rest of the kids try and guess what the actors were. One kid guessed "drunk" for some guy's mood XD

I watched Life on the Murder Scene (My Chemical Romance's on-tour diary thinggy) with Em.

I have Crabs stuck in my head :(

I now own PURPLE PANTS! Hot Topic was having a sale, so...purple skinny jeans!

That's it.

Video: It's for the hamster that I'm gonna buy!
Since most of you won't get it, that's Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance getting a hamster cage thing for the band's Secret Santa.

Happy Tuesday! Today was my second day of theater camp. All we did was practice a song or two, and then we played "games". First was the all-time theater camp favorite, Mirrors (the game where you mirror your partner's actions, or vice versa). I had my 8-year old partner act like a moose :D

It's time for an update of things you may or may not care about! Sound familiar, certain friend whose name starts with a certain letter that may or may not be an E?

Name: It's still Arly...
Favorite Color: Purple
Grade: 6th grade in September.
Favorite Band(s): You people better be sitting down, because this is gonna take a while...My Chemical Romance, The Used, Escape the Fate, I Set My Friends on Fire (that wasn't a typo), Green Day, Falling in Reverse (Even though they don't have any songs yet...hey, if Ronnie Radke is singing in it, I'm in. That guy has an awesome voice.), A Static Lullaby (maybe), Avenged Sevenfold...I could go on.
Favorite Song(s): In no specific order...21 Guns by Green Day, As You're Falling Down by Escape the Fate, Reverse this Curse by Escape the Fate, Blood On My Hands by The Used, and Reeses Pieces, I Don't Know Who John Cleese Is by I Set My Friends on Fire.
What I'm Up To: Theater Camp-ing, watching music videos, going to the Warped Tour in exactly 17 days, and watching Total Drama Action.

Thanks for bearing that. Here's a marshmallow.

( ()

-Ar

Video: As You're Falling Down by Escape the Fate

Em posted a music video on her blog, which two famous people were in. She told people to guess who was in the video, and I did (Mikey Way and Adam Lazzara). I got an awesome virtual cookie for it; it's chocolate chip!

(:::)

It smells virtually AWESOME. Thanks, Em...

Anyway...

THEATER CAMP STARTS TOMORROW

*screams*

Nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous nervous...

Bye.

My Warped Tour tix came in the mail today! But...mom won't let me stare at them! I can't even open the envelope :(

Summer camp is...okay. Before your first class, you have a choice of playing flag football, going on the computers, going to the game room, or hanging out in the park-ish area outside. My new friends (Emily, Deanna, Sarah, and Grace) went outside and hung out on this log thing that was on the ground. That log is preeeeeeeeetty popular, for a piece of dead tree. Then, we went to classes. I like my first class, Be A Reporter, the best. All you have to do is type a paragraph on some easy, boring subject the counselor gives you, and then you can do whatever you want on the computer. My second class is computers, where I play online pinball and change all of the screensavers I can get to a moving tie-dye pattern. My last class stinks; it's keyboards. I really like to play my keyboard, but we're just "learning" how to read notes and play Mary Had a Little Lamb. Today, I decided to try my luck and play I'm Not Okay (I Promise) by My Chemical Romance, and I got "the look". At the end of class, you could do whatever you wanted on the keyboards (since there were only two kids left, including me, who hadn't been picked up yet). That was better than the whole stinking class put together!

Well, enough negitivity. Gotta go watch Total Drama Action...

Video: Self-Defense Against Fresh Fruit

Hey. Since school is semi-over (we have 4 school days left, but we aren't doing any real work), we're watching a movie in science. We're watching The Day After Tomorrow (because it's "Sci-Fi"). It's about the last week(s) before the world ends. The part we just finished watching is AWESOME. The lead character's son, Sam, is at this big highschool decathlon in New York City. Then, the movie turns away from the decathlon and shows a huge tidal wave flow up to the neck of the Statue of Liberty. It's already raining like crazy, and all the cars and busses stopped in the street. Police officers are at some of the taxis and cars. This lady in a taxi is trying to talk to a police officer, but she's speaking African and the guy can't understand her. So, the girl Sam is with (she's a genius or something) runs over to the taxi and translates. The African woman and her daughter get out of the car and into the huge public library (everyone is going inside for cover), and the girl gets into the taxi to get the African girls' passports. But, the huge tidal wave is coming right for her. She gets the passports just in time. It's so cool, but now, whenever it rains, I'm probably going to hide in the basement or something.

Last time I blogged, I didn't post a video. So...here's a video so cool, it equals 2 regular videos! You're welcome.

The Flood: Escape the Fate

Today, the Fifth Grade started the Great Homeroom Wars of 2009. At my school, every class in the entire school is assigned a country-it's called Passport Day. The students have to research it and decorate our classrooms to look like our country. Other classes visit the country, so the hosting rooms have activities and music and stuff. Since it's the day before Passport Day, everyone worked on their project. My homeroom has the Bahamas, and the homeroom next door has Greece. 228, the homeroom next door to us, had a substitute today, so their room was really wild. Two girls from 228, Daniela and Mona, actually invaded our room and spied on our ideas. One of them was an area in the corner for food, which had a banner that said "Paradise Cafe", menus, and plates and stuff. Later, when we went to 228 for class (It's the Reading Classroom), we saw a section exactly like ours, except their banner said "Cafe Hercules". Near the end of class, when 228 was about to come inside for dismissal, my homeroom typed...

REVENGE.

-227

...on one of their computers and left it up. I left the room late so I could see their reaction, and it was pretty funny. They were standing around it, muttering. We're not even planning revenge! If they aren't scared enough tomorrow, though, some kids might sneak inside their homeroom and replace their Greek flags with Bahamian ones. Maybe. We'll see what happens next!

Video of the post: the United States of Whatever

Hey! Yesterday was my school trip to Philadelphia, which pretty much means "Homeroom Free-for-all". My homeroom teacher let us go on the computer and use our cameras and cell phones before the trip. This one girl in my class, Ana, was left with 1,000 out of 3,000 pictures on her Nintendo DS camera. I think that's why they don't let us use cameras and cell phones in school.

Philadelphia was pretty cool. We went to the Constitution Center, Independence Hall, and a bunch of other historicallish places. When we got to the sign that said Independence Mall, I had to be the one to crush everyone's hopes and say that it isn't actually a mall. I learned that from Washington DC. *sigh*

Well, I have to go to the...drumroll, please...Roselle Park Townwide Garage Sale. So...see ya!

I don't have enough time to post a video, so have fun with this picture of a cat wearing a beret. I'll post a video when I get back.

I have officially recovered from the fact that Kris Allen won American Idol by cheating.

Almost.

TOMORROW IS A HALF DAY!!!

That means...

No Spanish class

School ends at 12-something

There will be time for me to get my nails painted black after school

I get to drink orange juice from lunch in homeroom

Add the fact that the MTV Movie Awards are tonight and I'm actually allowed to stay up and watch them, and my week is starting off perfectly. But, with the whole Adam Lambert Withdrawal situation, my week is starting off perfectlyish. Which isn't a word.

Some YouTube genius made a movie trailer for one of my favorite songs EVER, Helena by My Chemical Romance, using Smashing Pumpkins, Thursday, and My Chemical Romance music videos. It's today's video of the post. Seriously, this looks like an actual horror movie!

P.S. The background music isn't Helena.

What do you call it when some singing 11-year old boys ("and if your boyfriend says he has beef, well I'm a vegetarian, and I'm not freakin' scared of him!"), a couple of girls with anger-management problems, a kid who appears to be totally oblivious to the world, caused by an MP3 player, and an elderly-ish teacher in charge? My homeroom.

TGIF!!!! Too bad I didn't have any American Idol to look forward to this week. But, there's some good news. If you don't live in a cave and you own a computer, chances are, you know about the Allen Conspiracy. If you do NOT live in a cave, you own a computer, and you have no clue what I'm talking about, you need to get out more. Anyway, the two finalists on American Idol were two guys named Kris Allen and Adam Lambert. Here are pictures. The first guy is Kris, and the second is Adam.

Adam is glammy and can hold a note for days. Kris is safe, boring, and an Adam fan. Gee, guess who won?

If you guessed "Adam", you're actually wrong.

For a few days, the Internet's Glamberts (Adam fans. Glam+Lambert=Glambert) couldn't figure out how it had happened. Adam was a billion times more popular than Kris was, and some fans even claimed to have voted over 10,000 times. Then, someone figured it out. 2 different powerful groups had cheated in Kris's favor.

The first group is AT&T, the cell phone company who sponsors American Idol. They attended Kris voting parties, handed out free phones, and taught the Kris fans how to send in 10 text votes per second.

The second group is two computer geeks from Kris's pre-Idol college. They blocked Adam's voting lines for an hour-A WHOLE HOUR!

So, if you add it all up, Adam was most likely the true winner. And what is American Idol doing about it?

Nothing.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

VIDEOS OF THE POST

Kris Allen's American Idol audition

Adam Lambert's American Idol audition
